INFORMATION

As a partner of quatra, former Rotie, you tap into over 65 years of experience. Not only do we specialise in the collection and processing of used cooking oils waste, but we also like to assist you with the emptying of your grease traps.

Quatra started with the collection of cooking oils in as early as 1950. At butchers and abattoirs first and later on at hotel and catering establishments. The melted fats were processed and cleaned for delivery to the chemical industry and the production of products such as candles and soap.

CO2 reduction is an important social theme which is a key focus area for many organisations. We too want to encourage our customers to adopt sustainable business practices. That is why, in cooperation with our sister company Biodiesel Amsterdam, we developed the CO2 reduction certificate.

The CO2 reduction certificate aims to achieve sustainable waste management, ranging from the separation and removal to the processing and recycling of organic residual waste. This working method is good for the environment and by showing the certificate to your customers you can demonstrate your efforts.
When removing the organic residual waste, we minimise the number of trips we make. No less than 99.9% of the materials we collect are recycled into biodiesel, biogas, biofuel oil, bioglycerine and compost. All this results in a maximum reduction of CO2 emissions.

Recycling natural raw materials reduces the use of fossil fuels. The use of green energy offers a unique and effective solution for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

The recycled biodiesel is added to the diesel you and I buy at the petrol station and reduces CO2 emissions by more than 85% compared to fossil fuels. The calculation for greenhouse gas emission reductions that have been achieved meet the requirements set out by Article 17.2 of the Renewable Energy Directive (2009/28/EC).
